Awesome Day

Tonight I got home from a Time Out for Women Conference. How awesome it was. And how much I needed the messages. I think they were given just for me. They talked so much about being yourself, it's okay to have our own way of doing things. We all have different ways of getting there, but we will rejoice with each other when we all get to the end. We don't have to be all to everyone every day. Rejoice in where you are right now. Life is like an old time railway, full of shoot, smoke, bumps and sudden stops; the trick is to thank the Lord for the ride. If life were easy it wouldn't be hard. Just do the best you can, but be sure it is your very best - then leave the rest to the Lord. How wonderful it was to hear messages like that to be uplifted and feel ready to once again take on the world. I went with some friends and we talked all the way there last night, spent the night, went to the conference, and talked all the way home. It's wonderful to be home and makes me want to be a better wife and mother. Watch out world here I come!!!
