There is a "what" in the backyard????

Here it is 3 oclock in the morning and I am in the middle of a sound sleep when I am awoken by my husband saying "How did it get in the yard", "How am I going to get it out". And I was soon fully awake by the smell that was thickly taking over the air in my room. We had a skunk in our backyard. Of course the dogs had cornered it and one got sprayed in the face so she was hiding under the bird cage. The skunk was mad and dancing around. The goat was pushing at his pen trying to get as far away from it as he could, and the dogs were all hiding. We do have a fenced in yard that our dogs can't get out of. Who knew that skunks can squeeze through chainlink fences??? Finally it got brave and got back through the fence but not before leaving a smell that still penetrates the back yard.
