Who Am I???
Last night I went to a youth fireside. Of course I was there because I was one of the leaders in charge, but it was an awesome speaker. He talked to the youth about "Who you are". Not just the you everyone sees, but the real you. What do you think about when you don't have anything to think about. What do you listen to when there is no one else around. What do you do when you get to choose. This got me thinking. Sometimes as an adult, especially as a wife and mother I get so caught up in everyone else that I forget who I am. I don't ever have times when there's nothing to think about because even when the kids aren't home I'm catching up everything that has to do with them. It's easy to get lost. To forget who I am, which gets my focus all out of wack. Of course my children are important, and raising children is the most important thing to do in this life. But I can't let myself get lost in the shuffle. In order to raise them the right way I need to have the balance in my life. And I need to remember "Who I am".

Yes, we are so much more than wives and mothers and within those boundaries we are able to be all that we are meant to be. We are on a pilgrimage and we carry our best flocks and treasures with us for the bigger purpose. Leave all the extra baggage behind and focus on the journey!
