Connections

One of the intersting things about living where I do is I run into people who know or knew my parents and grandparents. Sometimes I know them, sometimes not. I always hope that my parents and grandparents would be proud of that person knowing me and not embarressed by me. It has started happening now where my son is running into people who knew our family way back when. Last night he went to play games with some friends and they were doing it at the home of the grandmother of one of his friends. This grandmother is a good friend of grandma, as well as knowing all the rest of us. Seems weird to think of all the connections. Everywhere you go you find someone who knows someone, no matter how old or young you are.

Isn't it great, to think that our Grandma is so awesome that people want to know her? That people from her past want to remember her? I would love to run into people who know her, because I know her and I want to share that!

I know that I am always proud of you and your family. As for Grandma, good thing she was born when she was cause she doesn't know about not talking to strangers. I remember one time she was with us at Disneyland and we left her outside while we rode Space Mountain. When we came back out, she introduced us to a gentleman she was talking to who lived I can't remember where but he was related to so and so back in South Dakota and they knew one of her relatives. Maybe she should have been a reporter. love ya.
