Yeah! Surgery is over and I'm on the road to recovery. Feeling much better, tender and tired still but over all doing good. I went in this morning and had my drainage tube taken out. I have had a tube with a granade like thing attached to it all weekend. We had to drain it once a day and measure the amount of fluid. Fun, huh?? I was so glad to get that out today, and to be able to take a shower. A weekend of sponge baths is no fun. Although, I'll admit that I did use Saran wrap and tape yesterday so I could at least have something of a shower. I'll have the results of the biopsy next week. But the doctor did say it looks like everything is okay.
No major catastrophe's except that I did pass out while having the wire inserted. It was a needle guided biopsy, so they stuck a needle in the cyst, colored it blue, then inserted a wire in it so the surgeon could find it. I didn't make it through that. I'm not sure why, just told the doctor I was feeling weird and woke up on the floor. Which by the way was very cold. Of course that was in the Mammogram room again, and they were taking once again more pictures. So, it may just be the curse of that room. I can't do anything too strenuous this week, then can't lift anything over 20 pounds for two more weeks. Which is a bummer. It's hard to always have to ask someone to get something for you, or move something or whatever. Why is it when you have to take it easy that's when it's the hardest?
My kids are so excited about Easter. My girls especially can't wait. Need to get them busy making baskets. They each design their own basket each year. It's fun to watch what they come up with. What are your traditions? With my oldest leaving soon I find I think about traditions a lot more. I wonder a lot what will my kids remember? What will be the most important to them? What will they take with them to their own families? Traditions are fun, and have a way of bonding families together.

Glad to hear things went well.. I was starting to think I'd have to send an email to someone and inquire as to any news.. Yes, stay out of that Mammogram room. It doesn't seem to agree with you..
I've decided they must package Easter candy with families like yours in mind. I went to the store the other day with the intention of buying a bit of candy and could only find things packaged in big economy sized bags as if it was Halloween. Has it always been like this? All I wanted was a couple of those colorful egg sized candies with the white fluffy stuff inside, but they only had a two pound bag, and I didn't want to be eating one kind of candy for the next six months. So I bought a Cadbury egg and ate about 1/3 of it. Can anyone actually eat a whole one of these without going into some kind of sugar coma???
I can not only eat one Cadbury egg, but have been known to devour a box of four in one sitting. Not maybe something to be proud of, but oh well.
My Easter traditions are probably similiar to yours because we got them from the same place. The kids making their own baskets probably being the most important. Each child is designated a particuliar color of egg, to rid of us greedy children that try to find them all. The girls always get new dresses (but the last two years I've gotten Kasey the wrong size and she ends up not wearing it.)
I want to see pictures of these Easter baskets! I want to know what you mean by designing their own!
I can eat a whole cadbury creme egg, too. (probably could eat 2 if i tried, but not 4!)
We usually go to Will's bro's house, but this year are staying home. SO Saturday we'll color eggs (I got a star wars egg coloring kit! It makes a Yoda egg!) the Sunday morning the eggs will be hidden and found, by Rhayn.
I want more traditions, but Bug is too little for much this year.
I want some of the easter eggs with white fluffy stuff inside too but they don't make them as good as they used to be. Red were cinnamon and they were my favorite. I think I get more of a sweet tooth every year. I can buy the jumbo bags and eat it all. I'm working this year so guess Easter will just come and go. Glad your surgery went okay. love ya
