Third day of school and my kids are all doing good. Everyone is in school this year and I am enjoying the quiet and the opportunity to have me time. Seems like the past two and half years have worn me out I needed time for me. Time to get back into doing things I enjoy, time to rediscover friends I haven't had time for. Yeah!! I do miss them all, especially my little Minnie, she was my side kick for the past year. But they are high maintenance children and it is hard at times to keep up with them all the time. Last night I actually had time to play Uno with the little girls because I had time during the day to get everything done. It was nice. I know it will be crazy starting next week - homework will start, soccer starts, gymnastics starts, orchestra starts, so we'll have lots to do after school, but it will be fun.
Yesterday I had the chance to go out to lunch with a friend whose son is also serving a mission, our boys left a month apart. It was so nice to just sit and visit. We sat in the restaurant for 2 hours. Today I got invited to a salad luncheon with some other friends whose kids are all in school now. I'm looking forward to it. It will be fun. Yeah for Mom time! I think I'll even go back to Oil painting. They have classes at the college. I think I'll go check that out today.

Hooray for me time, hooray for you! I think my me time is in a galaxy far away in the very far off future. That's okay though, for now that's what works. Congrats on a little time to do what ever you want. Love ya
