Basketball and Doves

Well, we didn't win the game. They were able to hold them off better than the team that played the Apaches before, but still lost. Diana was devastaed. They still get to play for 3rd place on Sat. Which out of 8 teams isn't bad at all. So, hopefully they won't just give up and will give it their best on Sat. again.

I have 3 doves - 2 white and 1 ring-necked. I had 2 pair, but one got out and flew away. So, I have a pair and an extra. This year they have decided to try and nest in the food dish. So, I put a few more containers in their cage and some grass in the bottom of the cage to see what they would do. Right now they are mixing the grass in with the food to make a nest - silly creatures. We'll see what happens. It would be kind of fun to have them hatch an egg, the kids would enjoy the process of seeing a baby bird. I don't know if they'll get past the nest part, but it will be interesting to see.

Now I'm off to have lunch at school with my youngest. I did it last week with my second to the youngest and she loved it, so this week it is Min's turn. Although I didn't tell her for sure I was coming, so it will be a surprise. I will take something to eat this time, though. The food was nasty, and they only have about 10 minutes to eat, so it's stuff what you can and get out the door. LOL Then it's off to a hair appointment to have my hair trimmed - yeah!!
