What a whirlwind week!!!

Well, I have finished my script for my next play - Babes in Toyland. I had 80 children audition last week, so I had to make a few changes to the script to make sure I had parts for everyone that needed one. But I am finished and ready to tackle today's rehearsal. We finished our performances of Aladdin last week - it was a big success - we even had a sold out show one night, which is always a neat thing. I have a room full of props and set that need to be put away, and tubs of costumes that are out, opened and need to have the costumes returned to them, a house that needs cleaned and bills that need paid, but I'm getting there. We had a wonderful visit with Grandma as she was here this last week. It was a crazy one with my performance, auditions for the next group (which involves lots of paperwork and hours casting) Halloween, a 14 year old birthday, my 7 year old with a stomach bug on opening night, and all the normal everyday things that come with 5 children at home. We were sad to have here go home yesterday. I can't believe that's it's Nov. already, where has the year gone? But on the good side of that - my missionary comes home in 7 months!!! And the fun of the Holidays is upon us. Well, it's off to the bills or the house. Hmmm - tough choice - neither one is very fun. But I have Manheim Steamroller Christmas music on and I'm ready to go. 2 hours to work before the kids get home.

Seriously?? You're ALREADY listening to christmas music???

CAT was playing the guitar during the commercial breaks the other night while we were watching TV. When he begun playing Greensleeves, I made him stop.. I know (as he pointed out) it was an English folk song long before it became a christmas song, but....

Ok, as long as you haven't started putting up the tree ;)

Love ya!!

You are so Mom...
As soon as Halloween was over, it would begin, Alabama Christmas Tape until Jan. 1. I love it too, I just usually wait until Thanksgiving.

My family won't let me listen to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving. (of course sometimes in my car, when no one is around I might accidently turn on a CD).

Grandma had a great time at your house. She felt like she was able to help one of the days and that was so good for her.
