On June 14 we packed up our trailer with clothes and food and headed on the road to Tennessee. It was a long, long road. After many stops along the road, lots of full rivers to cross, miles of trees, many games of "two truths and a lie" and "ten fingers", and a few nights in the trailer we arrived in Tennessee. I have never seen as many trees as I did there. Trees, ivy and green were everywhere. It was beautiful, but of course the most beautiful sight was the sight on my missionary. The kids were so excited to see him, they could hardly contain themselves. We were able to tour around his mission and meet some of the people that he had grown close to. It was so cool to meet people that loved him, and to find out what a difference he made in their life. It was fun to listen to him talk to people and to realize how much he has grown. It was fun to see some of the areas and places that he talked about. We went to a Civil War Battlefield and to the Confederate Circle. After touring for a couple of days we headed to Missouri to visit with family there. My kids made fast friends with their cousins and loved every minute of being there. It was great to be there among all the memories in my Grandma's home. By the time we had spent a few days there we were all ready to be home, so the trip home was a fast one - lots of time on the road and not as much stopping. We got here in one piece with everyones sanity still intact. It was a fun trip with a lot of memories. Road trips - especially ones where you are sleeping in a 27 foot travel trailer have a way of forcing everyone to spend time together, which is a good thing in this crazy world where time goes by so fast. We are glad to have Jason home with us again - my family is now complete at least for the time being until we embark on the next phase of life.

Glad you had a good trip! I am sure you were all so excited to see him. It was so good to see Jason at Leanne's wedding! Chandler was basically attached to his side for the rest of the evening.
