January in a blur!!

Wow, it's February already. I'm not sure where Jan. went, I know that part of it went on the road to Phoenix and Tucson. We went to three different wrestling tournaments on Saturdays in Jan. Jesse did well in all of them, especially in the last one - the state tournament - he placed 3rd in his weight class. We were excited for him. It was a long day, but a good one for him. I have decided that wrestling is not a spectator sport, though. You sit for hours to watch 5 minutes of wrestling - it's crazy. We were able to go to Phoenix for fun one Sat., as we took the kids to see "Lion King". It was so fun. That was the Broadway play we have taken them to see, and they all loved it. We were in the nose-bleed balcony, but you could still see. The costumes were amazing and the music was too.

I started theatre in Jan., right after Christmas break. We are doing "The Music Man". It has been so fun putting it together. Jason has done the choreography, and the dancing is fun. Anthony and Diana are both in it. Anthony has the part of "Charlie Cowell - Anvil Salesman". Diana is one of the townswomen. We have a cast of 61, which is a good group for this age, and it's coming together good.

I decided to take two on-line computer classes this semester. It has turned out to be a little more than I thought, so I've spent a lot of time keeping up with them. I am enjoying it, though. It's a nice challenge. I am also taking oil painting again and loving it.

Then there's everything else - helping at school, keeping up with the kids homework, keeping the kids out of trouble; and all else that comes with day to day life.

Life is good, even when it passes in a blur. February will go just as fast as I start sewing costumes, and painting set for the play that performs Feb. 18 - 21; keep up on my classes; get the garden ready to plant (spring is coming - yeah!!); go to the temple groundbreaking (I am so excited about that); and everything else that will be thrown my way. So, another month - here we go.
