Life is Good!!

Life is good. Busy, crazy, exhausting, and overwhelming, but good. Today we had our first soccer games of the season. Three of my children played. They did good, we were proud of them. 2 and 4 played defense, which is their favorite. 3 played goalie and forward. He's more aggresive and loves to get in the middle of it all. We had one win and one lose, and a lot of sunburns. Mom forgot the sunscreen, and we got fried. I'm investing in a big umbrella or this is going to be a long two months. I was able to get a haircut inbetween the two games, so had a little me time, which is always good.
My oldest is directing a play. It is high school age kids and his first time directing on his own. I am so proud of him, he's doing a wonderful job, and I can't wait to go and see it perform this next week. They had a long practice today, then they all came over here for a little party. So, I had a house full of teenagers which is always fun. I love just sitting there and listening to them talk and laugh. And they are all so patient and sometimes tolerant of my children hanging around. It's so nice to see good kids, to be around them and know that all is well, life is good.
