Finally I can sneak a minute in between everyone else. Night time is like musical computer chairs. Between a husband who wants a turn to surf the net, work on homework assignments, or play a game. A college age son who wants a turn to check e-mail or instant message. Thank goodness he has his own computer now to do everything else on, just no ineterent. And various college age kids checking e-mail or doing research because their internet is down. I was able to sneak in before bed.
"Sleepy Time Dust" - the magic dust Mom carries in her pocket that is applied by blowing softly and sealing with a kiss. It only works with children 5 and under who are laying quietly in their bed without wiggling and without talking. Not effective when applied by Dad; only Mom. And some nights the magic just isn't strong enough. But 75% of the time it works it's magic and night time battles have become less and less. Of course I think that being worn out from school probably helps too. But I can still claim part of the credit.
