The last of the Birthday parties!!

Yes, we are officially through with all birthdays in our home until Aug., and no kid birthdays until Nov. Yeah!! We had our last party on Sat. The kids had a fun time as mom frantically tried to keep everyone busy and happy. It was a Beach Party birthday and the kids had the most fun finding seashells and rocks that were hidden around the house. Who knew that so much fun could be had so easily. Plus decorating their own cupcakes with Litlle Nemo gummies was much more fun than a cake that Mom would have had to take an hour to decorate herself. A treasure hunt created by big brothers ending with bottles of bubbles was the grand finale of the event. Isn't simplicity wonderful!! A big sigh of relief and on to the next big event in my life, but the end of the chapter of birthdays. Already the talk has turned to how old everyone will be next year, and I'm sure before we even turn around it will happen.
