My oldest son has written a play. He is directing a High School group at the college and they will be performing his play. It is an original adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, complete with music that he has composed. I am very proud of him. It amazes me how he can just sit down and write, it just flows out of him. And when he does music he just sits down on the piano and then the computer and ends up with wonderful songs. I am very excited to see the final production. The kids love him and he has a bigger group than they have had for a long time with that age group. And he has a way of bringing out the best in these kids.
They will be performing on Feb. 28, March 1, 3 & 4. So, if any of you family members like to watch theater performances and want to come by this way to see it you're welcome to come and stay with us. We'ld love to have you.

I sure wish I could go. I LOVE the theater!!! It's my most favorite thing ever! Wish him luck for me and tell him to save me a seat when he gets to Broadway!!!

lol - whenever I think of the theater, I think of the year I got season tickets for the light opera company in Tucson. John told me he would go, so I bought 3 tickets, one for him, one for mom and one for me. Which turned out meaning every play, I had an extra ticket that I had to find someone to use cause John wasn't going. Well, one day of a play, we had a family thing in Cool town and when we were getting ready to leave, I asked dacheese if she wanted to go with us, she was just a little tyke at the time. So she went with me and Grandma to see Oklahoma. She sat in awe watching it then came intermission and I took her to the ladies room. As we waited in line, I asked her how she liked the play. She said, "they look just like real people". Wish it was the end of March instead of February cause I would really like to see that play.
Wow! I would LOVE to come, I'll see if any of the Cool- folk want to come, and or maybe gramma?
Are you planning on filming it? I hope so, maybe we could figure that out (we have a video camera) and then lvh could watch it in March!?

leaner - that would be WONDERFUL if you could come. We don't usually record the plays because of copywrights, but since this is Jason's we'll probably get it recorded. Then lvh and alex's human can watch it. I'm sure Gramma would love to come if you could bring her. She talked about being sad to miss it since she can't drive. See what you can do!!
Just told G'Ma Carter that we will get her there. It would be great to do that and take dacheese for her birthday. So we'll be in touch to figure this out.
That would wonderful to have all of you here. We look forward to it!! I know Jason's been wanting to see dacheese. He commented the other day that he hadn't seen her since she got married.
