Springtime

Thanks to all of you for your support on my last blog. It is so wonderful to feel the love from family. I will be glad when this week is over. But for now, I'm happy it's getting to be Spring. I have daffodils blooming in my flowerbed and they are beautiful. I planted some petunias today. I love flowers. Gardening relaxes me so much. Something about helping something grow, just helps me to feel better.

My oldest, J, was hired on this week to be a Substitute teacher. He was excited to get hired, and should be able to start working this next week, if they need him. The lady that hired him told him he had more experience than any other sub she has hired, and that if he had his teaching certificate she would hire him for a real job. That seems really weird, doesn't seem like he should be old enough to be teaching school. But he definately has a talent for it.

As the fire in the fireplace burns down and the quiet of the night surrounds me it seems so peaceful. Everyone is asleep, waiting for a new day. A new day to jump and run, talk and sing, play and work, but for now it's nice to just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. So, as I'm just rambling I had better relax and join the rest of the sleeping family. Morning comes much to quickly at times.
