As I sit here trying to motivate myself to get busy, to start on my long list of things that I need to do this week, a week when I only have three days to get things done. I really need to get to the hospital lab this morning and have my lab work done while my little one is in preschool, so I should start there, and the dogs need food, so I should stop at Wal-Mart on the way home. Of course the house needs cleaned, and I have choreography to get ready for rehearsal today. And so it goes. The bad part is I'm so stressed about this stupid surgery on Thursday, that everything seems overwhelming. All the little things I normally deal with every day seem so large. But we'll make it through this too. Just like always. I think while I'm out I'll stop and buy some flowers. I have a few empty pots outside and planting flowers would do me good. They always make me feel better.
On the good side we got a new lamb this weekend. The kids are excited. She isn't tame at all yet, and runs to the other side of the pen when we go in. But she'll get used to us. She is real fiesty though, and keeps banging into the side of the pen to get out, and she misses her mom and crys and crys. She is very cute. I'll have Jason take a picture so I can post it.
Well, on to the day. Here I go, off to be poked with needles and have my blood taken. Yuck!!

A lamb? And what, may I ask, are you going to do with a lamb? I recall you had pictures a while back of a goat. Are you putting together a small zoo in your yard?
Yes, plant a few flowers. They always seem to add a bit of cheer..
Actually the "goat" we had pictures of was a sheep. He was a meat sheep instead of a wool sheep. They look more like a goat. Anyway, he grew up and we gave him back to my uncle to use as a stud. So, we got a new lamb this year. But, yes, we do have a small zoo. It's good for the kids.
You will be in our prayers that your fears will replaced w/ peaceful and calming tones. You recover from the sedatives like a champ, that even you are surprised how good you feel. Prayers for the surgeons' hands and anything they find will be nothing but tissue and that be the end of it. Also, that you will recover in a good amount of time and that you use that time to reflect on all that is good and may you be hope and strength for any other women you meet who will go through the same procedure.
We love you and hope to hear from you soon!
