Well, I guess it's time to report on the last two weeks. No, I didn't make it - a couple of work-outs each week, but didn't reach my goal. But I am off on the right start this week - I walked this morning. Yeah!!!
Last week was my performance week - so it was crazy. We performed Robin Hood - with a cast of 50 students. But it all went well, despite sick kids, props breaking in the middle of a performance, and the emotional outbursts that come with the territory of working with 11 - 14 year old kids. It was fun, I am exhausted, and ready to catch up on my life so I'll be ready to attack the next one - 4 - 10 year olds. At least I have a month before it starts, so I can breathe a little, and maybe get the props and costumes from this play organized and put away before starting the next one.
But life is good, my flowers are blooming, and my new garden area (which Mont said is a small farm) is half tilled up and getting ready to plant. Now it's back to cleaning house, not the favorite, but essential and almost done anyway, so I need to get it before the kids come home.
