The empty stage
Tonight our play performed the final night. They did good all four nights. It was exhausting, and I'm frantically trying to finish up some laundry and dishes so I can get to bed. But it is so worth it. As I sit back and watch them perform I realized how lucky I am to work with some of the best kids in our valley. Not just talented, but the best as people. As I get hugs when it's done and hear the excited question of when is the next play, these are my kids. Each one will always have a special place in my heart. And I'm lucky to have them touch my life.

I'm glad you have something like that you truly love to do. Those kids are lucky to have someone as devoted to you in that program, I hope they don't decide to do away with it. Maybe you should start a petition.
It is great to have something that you love to do! I hope to find something... Will would love it if I did. He knows I need something in my life, besides the kiddos.
