As part of our gardening experience this year a friend of mine ordered ladybugs to put on our roses for the aphids. So, Saturday eveing we put ladybugs on our roses. The kids loved it, even my oldest who hates bugs. Of course, the bugs didn't stick around, there were only a few to be found on Sunday, but it was a fun experience. We have a praying mantis egg case in a jar in the kitchen waiting for the babies to hatch out, too. I guess we're going buggy!!!

After reading about your bug encounter I remembered what I've been wanting to write a blog about. We have had fun with bugs through the years. We also have several geckos that live in our backyard and help us keep everything in balance. We used to love lady bugs when I was little, they would tickle when they crawled up your arm.
How fun! we just sprayed our house so we probably have no bugs. We sprayed because we foun 4 black widows around the house in a 2 day period. We had so many spiders everywhere...
