Disneyland

We spent Spring Break in Disneyland, it was a wonderful week. We had lots of fun. There were hardly any crowds, and we never waited in line for more than 15 minutes except to go on the "Finding Nemo" ride. We were able to go on the rides over and over. The girls were old enough to go on all of the rides now and loved them all, except for the "Malaboomer", but I don't like that one myself. They loved the fast rides - Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain Railroad, and California Screamin. It was hilarious riding one of them with Min because she would scream and laugh at the same time through the whole ride. The weather was perfect. We did get really wet after riding the Grizzly Rapids twice in a row, but then we went to the hotel for a break and dried out our clothes before going back for the fireworks. Our hotel was right across the street so that we were able to walk back and forth with no problem, but by Friday night my legs and feet were so tired from all the walking. We were kind of bummed because the Matterhorn was closed down and opened the day after we left, that was really the only thing that was closed, though. Tom Sawyers Island has been changed to a Pirates Cove which was really cool, there are some fun surprises there now. There are also some fun changes in the Small World ride. It was fun to just relax, eat when we were hungry (which had to include a frozen banana - my favorite treat at Disneyland), ride rides when we felt like it, and rest when we wanted to. No phone calls, no homework, no deadlines, just family fun.
