The Energizer Bunny

In our home we have an Energizer Bunny.  One that wakes up raring to go and doesn't stop until he suddenly rolls over and goes to sleep.  Some days he makes me feel really old because he wears me out, other days he makes me feel young again, but always makes me happy.  Today he learned how to climb on the piano bench, which he loves to play.  He learned how to climb on the bench that is on one side of the our kitchen table, which is not good because he already likes to climb on the kitchen table and sit in the middle of it.  He also figured out that if he puts a chair behind the couch in the family room he can climb on the back of the couch an slide down.  He has a cupboard with plastic containers in it that he is allowed to play in, today he discovered the Jello Easter egg molds - then came to me because he had gotten his fingers (3 of them) stuck in the holes in the bottom of the molds.  In Home Depot he discovered that if he turns the right way in the shopping cart he can work his way out of the seat belt.  He also discovered that if you hold the spoon right you can actually get a bite of oatmeal in your mouth - although he can still get it in much faster by the handful.  And he discovered that if he runs to Dad with his arms up Dad will take him wherever he wants to go.  That's a lot of learning in one day.  This Energizer Bunny goes until bedtime, where he rolls around on the bed, moving all different directions; lays his head on the pillow with his legs straight and his bum in the air; sits up to take a drink of his sippy cup before laying down again; and then finally just rolls over and stops moving and is fast asleep.
